Pre-screening for all appointments

After booking your first appointment, you will be required to complete a health screening form so I can assess your individual risk. If you are at higher risk for COVID-19, we can discuss any extra measures needed, or I can provide a video consultation as an alternative. All patients will also need to complete a COVID-19 screening form within 24 hours of your appointment. I ask that you do not come if you have any of the symptoms listed on the form. Similarly, if any household contacts have COVID-19 I ask that you reschedule your appointment. If in any doubt, please contact me before your visit.

Extra hygiene measures

 

I am currently leaving 15 minutes between each patient. This allows for aeration of the room, extra cleaning and no cross-over of patients. All surfaces are wipeable and I sanitise these between each patient - the couch, pillow covers, chairs, table, card reader and any exercise equipment. I have removed all linen from the room to minimise risk. I wash hands and forearms frequently and ask all patients to wash or sanitise hands on arrival. There will also be hand sanitiser in the treatment room.

PPE

​

I will be wearing a surgical grade mask. Other PPE is worn on a risk assessment basis. Please come to the appointment wearing a face covering (I can provide one if you don't have one with you). Please keep this on at all times whilst inside the building. If you are exempt, it is essential that you discuss this with me before your appointment. Market Studios continues to encourage mask wearing for everyone entering the building for exercise classes.

Arriving for your appointment

Please arrive on time for your appointment (not earlier) and use the door buzzer and wait at the entrance. I will come down and greet you at the door. We will wash or sanitise our hands before moving into the treatment room.

Social distancing

​

At Market Studios there are three treatment rooms on the first floor and a Pilates studio on the second floor. Please be mindful of social distancing and let people pass on the stairs. We do not have a waiting area so contact with others should be minimal.

 

We are lucky enough to have nice large and airy treatment rooms, so we are able to maintain some distance for some of your appointment.
